I am currently helping to found StartLouis, a new entrepreneur community for the St. Louis region. For StartLouis we are building a group blog and resource hub, supported by a monthly meetup group. We hope to become a focal point for the St. Louis startup community.

In fall 2009 I spent two months in San Francisco, California working for the GigaOM Network. During this time I worked on many of their web properties including GigaOM and GigaOM Pro, WebWorkerDaily, and their event websites.

* advising on improved systems architecture

In 2007 Electro Labs was contracted by Bonnier Publishing to lead the development of a new theme for Field and Stream magazine website. During this same time we also built out a new theme for the Outdoor Life website, and resolved a number of serious frontend web bugs on the Popsci.com site.

In the summer of 2009 I led the development of a reusable WordPress theme kit for Fleishman-Hillard’s internal marketing department, then led the development of several customized sites built up on the new framework. During this time I also consulted on improved backend systems and processes, and helped Fleishman-Hillard put together a new online marketing team.

In 2007 I served as lead developer on a new frontend template system for William & Mary University. During the same time I also worked on a small social network for Princeton University, and new frontend templates for Kellogg School of Management.

While working as a contractor for Fleishman-Hillard in 2006, I was the front-end architect and team lead for a redesign of AT&T’s corporate information website and a series of other corporate projects. After this I built a reusable intranet template kit, created an internal media aggregator, and programmed the front-end templates for the company’s 2006 annual report.
